About this site

Who keeps it

The site is kept by the three children of K. Bhadran — Abish Bhadran, Stephen Bhadran and Cynthia Bhadran. The collection is administered through Bhadran Art, LLC, the company the family maintains for that purpose; the copyright line at the foot of every page carries its name.

The catalogue

The one hundred and sixteen drawings shown here were made between about 2017 and 2023, in colour ink and pencil on A3 paper. By his own count he made some four hundred; others may join these in time. The catalogue numbers — BH 001 to BH 118, which run across the whole catalogue and so skip the works not shown here — were assigned by the family in 2026 and are the estate's numbering, not the artist's. The titles are his; the arrangement of the works into rooms is not. That was made by the family — first in August 2023, revised in 2026 — and is the estate's grouping. The images are scans of the original sheets, which remain with the family.

Rights and reproduction

Every work on this site is in copyright, and the rights are held by the artist's estate. The images are published here so that the work can be seen — that was his instruction. Please do not reproduce, republish or sell them, in any medium, without written permission. Do ask: for study, teaching and other personal use, the answer will usually be yes.

Prints, acquisition and licensing

Nothing is for sale on this site today. In time, the family intends to offer fine-art prints of the works, and will consider proposals for exhibition, publication and the licensing of reproductions. If you would like to acquire a print when they exist, or wish to propose an exhibition, a publication or the licensing of a work, write to the family at inquiry@bhadranart.com.

Correspondence

He ended his note to this site's visitors with a request: “Judge for its value and be gracious to inform me, or put your view on website.” He did not live to read the answers. The family reads in his place.

The address is inquiry@bhadranart.com. Every message is read. Please allow time for a reply.

Privacy

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and collects nothing about the people who visit it. If that ever changes — when prints go on sale, for instance — this page will say so, plainly.
